Attractions in Kelowna
There is a lot to do near your hotel room besides play golf, devour a restaurant meal or sip wine. Go wild at go-karts, paintball, batting cages, and bumper cars or explore Kelowna's four musuems, browse its outdoor public art or tap your feet at live concerts and festivals; if that isn't you, get a bird’s-eye plane tour of Kelowna or relax on an evening Lake Okanagan boat cruise. Knox Mountain Park, the Mission Creek Greenway and the Myra Canyon Trestles offer great hiking and biking nature trails, but every visitor should hop aboard the Kettle Valley Steam Railway. It's also worthwhile to visit the Father Pandosy Mission site that was home to the man who established the first white Okanagan Valley settlement in 1859. A dart over the Okanagan Lake Bridge will provide access to great shopping and many attractions in quickly growing West Kelowna that is a testament to the strong community and entrepreneurial spirit of the Westbank First Nation (WFN).
