Vancouver police are appealing for witnesses in a fatal collision between a bicyclist and an 80-year-old man.
The Vancouver man was crossing mid-block in the 3500 block of Main Street about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday when he was hit by the bike, which was being ridden by man in the northbound curb lane, said Const. Lindsey Houghton.
The pedestrian sustained a serious head injury and was taken to hospital, where he died Thursday, said Houghton.
The Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit has spoken with one witness to the accident but is asking that anyone else with information to contact them at 604-717-3012.
