GD Star Rating

Old friends will renew acquaintances when the Ottawa Senators and the Pittsburgh Penguins clash in the first round of the playoffs.

This is the third time in four years that the Senators and Penguins will do battle in the opening round.

In 2007, the Senators beat the Penguins in five games en route to the Stanley Cup final, which they lost to Anaheim. Two seasons ago, Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin led the Penguins to the final (where they lost to Detroit), a run that began with a four-game sweep of the Senators.

What will this year's series bring?

Will the Stanley Cup champion Penguins roll over the Senators again? Will Ottawa stop Crosby dead in his tracks and prevail? How many games will the series go?
