The Total Restoration Team from Kelowna have captured their second-consecutive competitive ski2sea open title during the 30th annual Interior Savings Ski2Sea race held Sunday.
Team Total Restoration finished in a time of 3 hours and 19 minutes, well ahead of the field after completing the six legs and over 95 kilometres from Big White Ski Resort to City Park‘s Hot Sands Beach.
The Kelowna based team beat out a record field of 115 competitors.
The team finished all six events, beginning with alpine skiing, then nordic skiing, before moving on to mountain biking, road cycling, running, and canoeing, just behind their 2009 time of 3:11:46.
The race began at 9:30 a.m. at Big White, with the first teams arriving at the finish line approximately three hours later.
