I want to inform everyone that people are people. things happen.how do you determine who’s stupid for going missing..Yes there is lots of people who just take off and don’t tell anyone, and it is a big upset for everyone.you have no idea how people can manipulate. i don’t care who you are, there is always a way in.that’s like saying “it will never happen to me!”it’s a delusion.I have been in a situation where I was lured in a situation. I am not stupid because I fell for it.nice,strong,goodhearted people get in situations were there is absolutly no way it could have been predicted or controled. you know maybe think about the family’s and the possability of death. instead of talking about how stupid there actions were and how they should pay for spending tax payers money. not only that, those people who do take off and don’t tell anybody, is because they don’t want to be found.those people have reasons for doing that too.play the tape through, the people who actually know her,have been going over and over this.put yourself in her mother’s shoes.To her this is not a waist of tax payers money!or a waste of a time.there should be more money spent on finding these people.What if it was your daughter?

Kamlesh- I absolutely can not believe how insensitive and cruel you are.
You’re an *$$h^le!
I know Brittney’s family and how worried they are. I am sure she is genuinely missing and not “wasting tax payer money” or print-space while out joyriding.
The only stupid acts going on here is Kamlesh spouting off about something
without having any idea about it.

I know Brittney personally. She was an amazing person who was always willing to go out of her way and help people. She worked in geriactric care and loved every minute she spent with her clients. Just because she was known to police doesn’t necessarily mean that she is quilty of ANYTHING. It is disgusting that you (Maru) would say such ignorant and uneducated comments. You have NO idea who Brittney was, or what she was doing on that day. What if it was your family member?

Are you kidding me. Do you know how many people age 24 keep secrets from their parents?? It has nothing to do with being raised in the west. We all have family values, regardless of what culture any of us arise from. And to be honest, I know many with similar last names as yours that keep secrets from their familes, BECAUSE THEIR LIVES MAY DEPEND ON IT!!
Brittney is a sister, a daughter, and a cousin..and its not like she went on some joy ride here. The circumstances are not some girl out having fun..
What if this was someone in your family?? I have read many posts on different websites, yours by far is CRUEL and “Ignorant”..by definition…typical one sided “un western” of you. So why are you here?? What if this was one of your family members??
Would it be a waste of our tax moneys if this happened to someone in your family??

It seems to me that the worst thing the police can do is announce that they were already familiar with any person who is involved in a missing persons case. Narrow-minded people immediately jump to the worst possible conclusion and start victim-blaming. How is this helping anyone? The police should keep public opinion out of time-sensitive cases like this one!!! Time for some policy change.
I am praying for her safe return regardless of the circumstances.
