Mounties say a taste for expensive booze has seemingly prompted one shoplifter to double dip.

A man and women first showed up at a Liquor Store, in the 3100 block of Lakeshore Rd., on Feb. 8 at 2:24 p.m.

“Video surveillance captured the duo approaching the shelves of Vodka, and taking two bottles of the most expensive kind, before leaving the store. Police were unable to locate the suspects,” said Const. Steve Holmes in a press release.

On Feb. 23 at around 4  p.m., the same male came back into the store and took another expensive bottle of vodka, before beating a hasty retreat.

Police are releasing a video still picture of the male and female, from footage captured during the first shoplifting, in the hopes of identifying and arresting them.

Both the man and woman are described as caucasian, 25-30 years old. Both were wearing black, down filled, North Face winter jackets, and blue jeans. Both were seen leaving the Liquor store on bicycles.
