If you catch yourself doing a double take today wondering where you saw that familiar famous face, think: Stanley Cup.

The Detroit Red Wings arrived in Kelowna late Monday night for a three day stay that will see the NHL team practice twice at Prospera Place in Kelowna before continuing a western road trip. They spend the day in Kelowna after beating the Flames in Calgary last night and play again Friday night in Edmonton.

The Wings will hold two practices during their stay in Kelowna and both will be open to the public. The team will skate from 11 a.m until noon on Wednesday and on Thursday at Prospera Place.

Admission to the practices is a donation to the Kelowna Community Food Bank.

The doors to Prospera Place will open at 10 a.m. each day.

Ever wonder just how much Edmonton and Calgary and all parts in between suck? The Red Wings flew over here to Kelowna between games in Edmonton and Calgary. Looking forward to watching the practice today!
