The home team has come out on the winning end of things in all four meetings thus far between Penticton and Westside.

After the Vees won both games in Penticton, the Warriors answered on the weekend with two home victories of their own to tie the Interior semi-final at two games apiece.

The Vees are back on home ice tonight at the South Okanagan Events Centre, where they are undefeated so far in the BCHL playoffs.

But Westside has played well in that building through two games, only losing by two goals in Game 1 (3-1) and dropping Game 2 (3-2) by a single goal. A road win will put the Warriors in a position to close out the series at home on Tuesday night.

Denver Manderson has led the charge on home ice for Penticton this playoffs, tallying two goals and the three assists in the first two games of the series.

The Vees’ captain was held to a single point in Westside. For the Warriors, Trevor Bailey has stepped up his game immensely with consecutive first-star honours. Bailey, who did not record a point in Penticton, accounted for two goals and three helpers on the weekend, including the OT winner in Game 4.
