Kelowna’s Kelsey Serwa captured gold as Canada dominated the podium in women’s World Cup ski cross in Switzerland.
The Canadian contingent of Serwa, Ashleigh McIvor and Danielle Poleschuk swept the podium, finishing first, second and third, respectively.
Fellow Canadian Chris Del Bosco won the bronze in the men’s event, finishing behind Olympic bronze medallist Audun Groenvold of Norway, who won gold after outlasting Olympic champion Michael Schmid.
The bronze medal means Del Bosco now trails Schmid by 178 points in the ski cross standings with only two events remaining.
