Police score with drug bust in golf course parking lot

On March 4, 2010, members of the Kelowna RCMP Drug Section stopped a vehicle in the Duffers Golf Course parking lot after the vehicles occupants were observed conducting drug transactions earlier in the day.

As a result of the vehicle stop two males were taken into police custody. A search of the males, and the vehicle, resulted in the location of a quantity of cash and a small amount of crack cocaine.

Both of the males that were arrested inside of the vehicle have been released by way of Promise to Appear with recommended charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
