More than 55 students are involved in the latest Heritage school musical production, the timeless tale of Cinderella, and they are hoping that part of the shows proceeds will go to a help a good cause in Haiti.

With six shows scheduled to run from Tuesday evening through to Saturday afternoon at the Heritage Theatre next top the school on Badke Road in Rutland, the proceeds from a special show late Friday evening will go to assist the New Hope Mission orphanage in the Caribbean-island nation as they struggle to rebuild after the devastating earthquake more than a month ago.

Cinderella will be presented at 7 p.m. Tuesday to Friday night, with a Saturday matinee at 1 p.m. and the special Friday night benefit show at 9:30 p.m. All shows are at the Heritage Theatre at 905 Badke Road in Rutland and tickets are available at the door.

The show last night was nothing short of spectacular! These students are among the elite when it comes to performing! They can dance, sing and act! This drama teacher produces the best local live entertainment I have seen.
