The White Stripes are accusing the U.S. Air Force Reserve of stealing one of their hit songs and using it in recruitment commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. On their website, the band, led by front man Jack White, pictured, said the Air Force Reserve re-recorded their single, Fell in Love with a Girl, and used it without permission. "The White Stripes take strong insult and objection to the Air Force Reserve presenting this advertisement with the implication that we licensed one of our songs to encourage recruitment during a war that we do not support," the statement said. The rock duo vowed to "take strong action" to stop the ad. Yesterday, the commercial appeared to have been removed from the Air Force Reserve's website.
