Ballet Kelowna’s biggest fundraising event of the season, Pirouette, is set for this Saturday at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and the black-tie affair should be one of the most elegant nights of the winter.

Organizers hope that the third edition of Pirouette will surpass last year’s total of $115,000 raised for the local classical dance company, and with all 200 tickets already sold starting at $250 each, they should be well on their way to achieving their goals.

The event starts at 6 p.m. with opening reception, and will feature a menu created by seven highly-regarded local chefs, with both silent and live auctions of all manner of desirables, from weekend getaways to delicious gourmet meals at some of the finest restaurants in the province.

Patrons will also be treated to dances from the members of the company as a taste of what is to come this season.
