The Conduit Festival of Arts, Music, Crafts and Ideas is scheduled to take off for the first time ever this Saturday at the Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna beginning at 4 p.m. and running until 1 a.m.

Billed as a zero-waste event and a showcase of emerging and established art, music, installation, sculpture, urban farms, and handmade crafts, among other things, it is the brainchild of local musician Gabe Cipes.

Part of the growing Global Green Movement the event will take over much of the Rotary Centre, with musical acts such as Kevin Kane, Yoko, Nixie, and more scheduled to attend.

Admission is $10 to $20 at the door on a sliding scale.
