MacDowell enjoyed classic French bistro fare with a group of 12 film-industry friends. The Sex, Lies and Videotape star is in Vancouver filming Daydream Nation, a dark comedic story of a high-school student "involved" with her teacher.
The eatery has become a regular stop on the itineraries of visiting celebs.
American Idol champion David Cooke enjoyed lunch at Elixir on Saturday, it was reported. The American singer-songwriter rose to fame after winning the seventh season of the reality show.
And Canadian actor Shawn Roberts hung out at Opus Bar on Sunday. The Ontario born heartthrob has appeared in hits including X-Men, Resident Evil: Afterlife, and Mel Gibson's new movie Edge of Darkness.
