The up coming Sundance out several ch anges for the 2010 season. John Cooper announced yesterday that there will be a new section devoted to low-and no-budget filmmaking, and the opening night picture has been cancelled (instead, the festival will open with a screening of one dramatic feature, one documentary and a program of shorts). Some of the more hyped films on the roster include: Blue Valentine, a portrait of an American marriage starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams; Howl, about how Allen Ginsberg created his eponymous poem and the obscenity trial that followed, starring Jam Franco, pictured, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeff Daniels.
