How is the house arrest going to work if she can't afford her rent unless she steals???? Where is she going to get rent money?

Her curfew clearly didn't work last time. She was out driving a stolen car with stolen ID in the back days after her arrest!

Now we expect her to abide by her conditional terms for 2 years? Yeah right

"By virtue of her young age, guilty pleas and lack of a prior criminal record, she escaped with a sentence of house arrest..."

Lack of a prior criminal record? Maybe because they waited to sentence her until she had 15 counts against her!

The crimes listed in this story are only the ones they have knowledge of...I am sure there were many more. The fact that she got caught at the condo complex on Franklyn rd, and then stole a car and money a few days after, demonstrate that she has no remorse whatsoever and that all of her crimes were pre-meditated. So, how does she only get a conditional sentence? Atleast an addict has somewhat of an excuse. Just shows what we have known for some time, that our judges and our justice system are badly broken. I am embarassed to be a British Columbian.

The next time some guy who commits one offence gets the book thrown at him the whole concept of justice will go
right out the window. This person seems to have made a
business out of crime and very little happens. The problem
is someone else who gets into a fight in a bar or downtown
gets almost the same sentence.
