After reading of Lawrence Solomon's treatment on CBC's The Current, I listened to the CBC Tremonti interview. That was very difficult because I have boycotted CBC for years, which improved my health and disposition. The first edition of the National Post was October 27, 1998, which I eagerly anticipated. The CBC National News had three pundits on to discuss the launching of this newspaper. They seemed to have reached a consensus then as well … and that was that Canada did not really need another paper.
Mr. Solomon communicated very effectively on The Current. No doubt that's why it turned confrontational and I was sorry it was so short. What Mr. Solomon experienced in that interview was not surprising. It is just unfortunate that we do not have the equivalent of "Fox" Conservative media outlets. But let us take comfort that we have the National Post. What a team to name just a few, Terence Corcoran, Peter Foster, Robert Fulford, George Jonas, Charles Krauthammer, Lawrence Solomon and many more.

Many years ago while watching CBC’s Take Thirty with Harry BROWN as the host. It must have been a slow news day, or a guest must have cancelled, anyway Harry was interviewing Larry ZOLF. One of those, how did you get in the business, type interviews. I guess Larry started as a cameraman on the, now, infamous “This Hour has Seven Days” with Patrick WATSON and Lauirer LAPIERRE. Harry, had to ask, “should they have cancelled Seven Days. Larry”s answere has remained with me to this very day because it is the CBC to this very day, Leopards don’t change there spots and scorpions will always sting those that try to help them. Larry said, “They had to because they were using the Camera to prove their Political Bias’s”, Nothing has changed, if anything the CBC is getting worse and more obvious as the Global Warming/Climate change debate gets going. Interesting the writer expresses my eact sentiments with regards to the National Post and Fox, I would like to add AM Radio 640 and Johnny OAKLEY in Toronto who also has been bringing the debate forward.
Thanks Again
