The SFU Clan men's basketball team is growing on the court and off.
Several Clan players, including its senior class of Kevin Shaw, Sean Burke, Matt Kuzminski, Jordan Nostedt and head coach Scott Clark are, to varying degrees of success, growing moustaches to raise awareness of prostate cancer as part of Mo-Vember, a global, month-long initiative centered around men's health issues.
"I threw it out there to the guys because it is something I see out there and want people to be more aware of," says Shaw. "I've got a pretty good one going but coach takes the cake. The other guys are trying but some of them have whiskers that look like can you wipe off with a wet cloth."
