Dwayne Roloson made 58 saves and Josh Bailey scored in overtime to lift the New York Islanders over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Bailey scored 4:18 into overtime on the Islanders' only shot of the extra period.

ANAHEIM, Calif. — J-S Giguere made 41 saves for his first win of the season despite allowing a tying goal with 18 seconds left in regulation, and Teemu Selanne scored in the shootout as the Anaheim Ducks beat the Calgary Flames.

EDMONTON — Jeff Deslauriers made 36 saves for his first NHL shutout, and Sheldon Souray and Ales Hemsky scored a team-record seven seconds apart to lead the Edmonton Oilers over the Phoenix Coyotes.
