The KSS Owls AAA girls field hockey team were crowned Okanagan Valley Schools Athletic Association champions with a 4-1 over the South Kamloops Titans in the final game played in blustery conditions Saturday at the Mission Turf Field.
Jonel Boileau led the way with a pair of goals, while Morgan Stone and Sammi Di Maria each chipped in with singles to set the pace for the Owls, who earlier in the day had defeated the Mt. Boucherie Bears 10-0 to earn a spot in the finals.
KSS will now move on to the provincial championships Nov. 12-14 in Burnaby.
In the bronze medal game Pen Hi edged the Bears 3-1.
