Virtuoso musician Victor Wooten played solo in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 300 people at Gotcha’s nightclub Wednesday evening.
The bass player demonstrated why he is one of the most in-demand people in the business, having played with the likes of the Dave Matthews Band, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, and legends like Stanley Clarke and Marcus Miller.
Wooten was brought into Kelowna by local retailer Wentworth Music and not only showed his prodigious technique and musicianship, but answered many questions from the audience and spoke about his unique approach to creating music, and later took the time to sign autographs and meet with the audience.
