The devestation of the huge Terrace Mountain forest fire is plainly visible in aerial photos taken Sunday by Kelowna.com’s Chris Stanford.
Although the fire has been largely controlled, there are still some hot spots remaining and crews are being kept busy making sure they are not in any danger of spreading. The recent cooler temperatures and precipitation have been a boon to firefighters as they wind down their efforts.
