With a dramatic win in their last round-robin game of the tournament the host Rutland Rockies earned a spot in the semi-finals Sunday in the Bantam AAA Provincial Championships being held at Rutland’s Edith Gay park.

After losing 8-7 to the Victoria Vipers in a game completed Saturday after being called due to darkness in the seventh inning Friday evening, the Rockies bounced back and defeated North Delta 21-11 in a slugfest to bring their record to 2-2 and put them in second place in Pool B.

They will face the Pool A winners Abbotsford (3-1) in one semi-final, while undefeated Pool B winners Victoria (4-0) will take on Burnaby in the other semi. Both games are scheduled for 10 a.m., with the winners moving on to the provincial final game at 2 p.m.
