Even as the City of Kelowna and a group of Pandosy Street merchants lock horns in a legal battle over the fate of a city owned parking lot, the city is working on a parking study for the area.
And preliminary results from that study are on display right now at an open house being held in a parking lot at Osprey and Pandosy.
Consultants working for the city have done an inventory of the area’s parking, who is using it, when and for how long.
“Now we’re listening to businesses and residents,” said city traffic engineer Jerry Behl.
City staff and consultants will take information from today’s open house to incorporate into a final report.
The open house runs until 6:30 p.m.

This is typical of this city council, if they had done this open house beforre announcing the plan, maybe the NOW womens center would be able to go ahead. but because they didn’t now all the taxpayers get to pay for a legal battle!!
