Kelowna RCMP are expected to reveal more details as early as today about the fate of a Kelowna man who drove his motorcycle into an oncoming car on Westside Road Wednesday.
RCMP Const. Anthony Deveau said the rider cross the centre line coming up a hill when it hit a small red car. Most of the damage to the car was on the lower portion. The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries as two friends who were riding with him spoke to police. There were no witnesses to the accident. One of the companion riders said he was doing the speed limit but their 42-year-old friend had gone ahead of them so they weren’t sure of his speed at the time of the accident.
